Small actions have a big impact. We have a few planters left to house your homeless bees and butterflies. It's a fun project that allows the opportunity to discuss the impact we have on our surroundings as well as just spending time together. All we ask is £5 p&p for qualifing areas... or £15 including postage for areas outside of Sedgemoor and West Somerset.

As with all of our DIY kits, everything is precut with pilot holes drilled. You'll just need to raid the shed for a screwdriver! Our bee and butterfly planters are flying out the door quick, but there's still a few left for eligible families in West Somerset and Sedgemoor! We're just asking for a £5 contribution towards postage and for you to provide feedback once you've built it. They're one kit per family and on a first come basis.https://www.fortitudecic.co.uk/.../bee-butterfly-planter.../Due to lots of interest in our previous kits, we've made a few more this time for local families who live outside of Sedgemoor and West Somerset. These are available at the super supplemented price of £10 (+ £5 postage).https://www.fortitudecic.co.uk/pro.../bee-butterfly-planter/

We've been a little off the radar lately- lots of prep and planning! Some of you may have seen that we've been piloting a cold water immersion course in Taunton. The pilot has now finished and we've since sold out our first paid session within a matter of hours. We've got lots of lovely feedback to share with you, as well as an insight into the benefits on people's wellbeing, but that's not the reason for today's post. Essentially, we are looking to roll out the course as fully funded sessions to run alongside our paid groups. We are also looking to extend the project to sea swimming sessions, as well as trips further afield. One plan for the future is to pilot Somerset Surf programme for our landlocked people, as well as getting ready to relaunch Amamaya clothing in September. Busy, busy, times ahead! All of this is going to take a bit of funding, sooooo, in order to raise awareness and some money to enable all of these plans to go ahead for the various projects, Laura has somehow convinced Olly to cycle from Taunton to Lands End in July (he's not happy about it!), and we are planning lots of silliness along the way which we may need your help for. The first thing you can all do is to invite everyone you know to 'like' the Fortitude Page to get updates. We'll be launching a group soon for those that want to keep track on how we are doing for the adventure, and for those that want to get involved and give us a hand fundraising. More to follow soon!
